Imagine how many people dislike you because they didn't hear your side of the story. They heard the narcissist's version the manipulator's lies the victim narrative crafted by the person who actually caused the harm.

They heard how terrible you are how crazy you are how you're the problem and they believed it without question without talking to you without getting your perspective.

Now they dislike you they judge you they've written you off entirely based on a story told by someone who needed you to be the villain so they could play victim and you never even got a chance to defend yourself.

This is how narcissists isolate their victims how manipulators control narratives how toxic people ensure you have no support system.

They get to everyone first they tell their version they paint themselves as the wounded party and you as the aggressor.

By the time you realize what's happening your reputation is already destroyed your relationships are already poisoned and anything you say gets filtered through the lie they told first.

They've primed everyone to not believe you to see you as defensive to interpret your truth as more proof of your toxicity. It's strategic it's calculated and it's devastatingly effective.

The people who dislike you based on someone else's story aren't your people anyway. Real friends would come to you would ask your side would give you the benefit of doubt would question a narrative that paints you as a monster.

People who believe lies without investigation were looking for permission to not like you or they're too easily manipulated to be safe connections.

Either way you're better off without people in your life who judge you based on someone else's version of events they didn't witness and didn't verify.

Don't exhaust yourself trying to correct everyone's perception. The truth will reveal itself eventually patterns emerge masks slip and people who believed lies about you will eventually see the same patterns in their own interactions with your abuser.

Your job isn't to convince everyone you're not what they were told your job is to heal to move forward to build a life with people who actually know you not people who know the story someone told about you.

Let them believe what they want eventually they'll learn what you already know which is they believed a lie told by a liar and that's on them not you.

Liberating experience

I'm now on Day 12 of the Medicare AEP season, and my schedule is fully packed.

Today's agenda includes making follow-up calls and scheduling appointments for the upcoming week. In addition to fixing my family a soul food dinner!!

I 'm also preparing for an upcoming business trip to Indiana and Kentucky, where I'll be enrolling a company in group benefits.

I'm deeply passionate about my work and excited to provide guidance to seniors in the community until December 7, helping them select the most suitable plan for their health and wellness needs in the coming year.
