The nurse is checking out baby and dad is there to support! This little guy was the sweetest little thing after his mama opted into her second c-section despite that not being in her plans. She was a trooper and I had the privilege of capturing some of the moments post birth.

Babies first feed! The female body is truly astounding! If breastfeeding is your goal, you can start that process as soon as a few minutes/an hour after birth! Baby will start giving signs like smacking and licking lips, kicking legs to find the breast and lots of blinking and looking around. They know what to do! But don't forget, they've never done it before so it may take a few times to get a good latch. Thats normal! You will figure it out together! Or you can call and she will help 😉
