Back in 1994, at the age of 40, Oprah Winfrey completed the Marine Corps Marathon, finishing all 26.2 miles in 4 hours and 29 minutes.

She wasn’t there for glory or recognition. She did it to prove to herself and to everyone watching that with consistency, grit, and self-belief, you can push beyond what you once thought possible.

When she crossed the finish line, she summed it up perfectly:
