Two students working on their practicum experience at MSAC participated in MS State Action Day in Jefferson City. They advocated for upcoming bills banning practices that would cause higher financial burdens for people with MS and jeopardize their access to health care.

Fiona and Mira met with Rep. Emily Weber and Rep. Chris Brown from Kansas City and Rep. Kem Smith from St. Louis, sharing with the legislators how the bills will impact people with MS.

Meet Tito's Trekkers! Tyler, affectionately called Tito, participates in our community wellness program at MSAC. His community is rallying behind him for Race to Nowhere because they understand how important it is for Tyler to be connected to the health expertise and resources we offer.

As part of University of Kansas Medical Center, MSAC has the opportunity to partner with KUMC staff in providing quality programming for our participants. This week Assistant Professor of Dietetics and Nutrition Tyler Titcomb shared valuable information and resources with MSAC members about healthy eating and nutrition.
