Something new is bringing a little extra energy to the Clubhouse 🎱

Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, we’ve added a beautiful new pool table—already creating a space for connection, conversation, and a bit of friendly competition.

What’s been especially meaningful is seeing the Clubhouse come to life in new ways—residents playing, others stopping by to watch, visit, and enjoy the atmosphere together. It’s a reminder that sometimes even a small change can open the door to new opportunities for community.
Whether you’re ready to take a shot or just enjoy the company, we hope this space continues to grow as a welcoming spot for everyone.

There’s something special happening at Kingswood 💙

Our resident-led committee, Caring Beyond Kingswood (CBK), continues to find meaningful ways to give back—and their latest “Makers Session” is a perfect example.

Residents came together to create handmade cards and paper pads for patients at a local Hospice House. Simple, thoughtful items—but ones that can bring real comfort, connection, and a personal touch during difficult moments.
It’s inspiring to see our community not only caring for one another, but reaching beyond our walls to support others with kindness and intention.

On this last day of March, we wanted to squeeze in one more associate spotlight for the month!

🎨 Eljay likes to make things better. His work at Kingswood Senior Living is to make the building look better through fresh paint, installing new appliances and making repairs. But he also makes things better for residents with his quick laugh and ability to make people feel comfortable. His positive attitude and genuine willingness to help shine through in everything he does.

Eljay, who has been at Kingswood for three years, previously helped manage a large apartment complex.

When he’s not working Eljay enjoys music and art mostly hip hop and rhythm and blues. 🎶

We’re cheering on the Kansas City Royals today and celebrating all the excitement, traditions, and hometown pride that make Kansas City so special.

Our Kingswood community is blessed by the meaningful work of our Chaplain, Jamil, and our resident Worship Committee, who have created a beautiful Stations of the Cross experience in our Health Center courtyard. ✝️

Residents and families are invited to walk the stations Monday through Thursday, taking time for reflection, prayer, and spiritual connection during this sacred season.

Due to expected rain, the stations will likely be moved indoors on Wednesday and Thursday.

We are grateful for the care and intention that went into creating this special space for all to experience. 💜
