The inaugural Awaken as Love Women’s only retreat was a great success- After our week together, I can feel how these women truly awakened to themselves and to more love. We laughed, we cried, we danced, friendships were deepened and formed. We learned deep concepts about what it means to be a human being among humans in a multi-sensory, embodied way. We bravely showed up for each other raw and vulnerable and REAL. Oh, and we also did some collective sisterhood wound healing along the way. My heart is full of love and gratitude for these woman who said yes and showed up fully for this experience, for getting the privilege to be “on the couch” with two amazing facilitators- Lourdes Starshower and Cathleene Cienfueges. I am grateful for the rock star assistants, for this body of work, and for my beautiful Casa Ixchel- who held us all so gracefully.

I recently stepped out of my comfort zone at an Awaken as Love training in Orlando, where I sang a lullaby I used to sing to my babies, acapella, during the Gift Giving Show. It was a profound week of inner and intrapersonal work, and the lullaby felt like a welcome addition. I also was given opportunities to teach during the week, which absolutely lit me up! Following your bliss really works! More teaching opportunities are on the horizon. Stay tuned.

This is my view this afternoon. I took a long walk on the beach in an effort to move this excruciating grief I am experiencing through my body. I miss my mom. It’s that simple. The cairns in my view are meaningful to me as is the perpetual ebb and flow of the ocean.

Cairn: “In order to balance stones, you need to be patient and exert physical effort. It is this intention of grace that each rock represents, which can be a symbol of thanks or help to another”. I have gratitude for grace, physicality, feeling my feelings, and being blessed with an extraordinary mom. I wish there was phone service in the cosmos…

Our Story

Hello, I am Carol Paysinger, a Myofascial Release therapist and the owner of Kismet Healing. I am a lover of life with a passion for helping people feel whole, balanced, and safe in their bodies. I have been trained under John F. Barnes, PT, LMT, international lecturer, author, and authority on Myofascial Release. This specialized instruction, along with my many years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, and my training as a yoga instructor, provide me with a multi-dimensional understanding of the body and how it heals. I also have many years experience as a pediatric OT, and love providing MFR to babies and children.

My intuitive and empathic nature ensures that every session is tailored to the clients individual needs.

One of my favorite aspects of this work is the connections I make with my clients. By partnering with them on their healing journey I am able to provide guidance and empowerment as they navigate the path of coming home to their bodies.
