The term "Christian Counseling" can be comforting to some, but intimidating to others.

We want to be clear about what you are walking into when you schedule with one of our Christian counselors.

Their aim is to meet you where you are. They will never spend time speaking about their personal beliefs unless it is comforting or beneficial to you as a client.

Sessions with your therapist are yours. Our goal is to provide the tools that work for YOU, not to convince you of anything that doesn't resonate with your journey.

Hate can feel good at first, it can feel righteous & even necessary. After all, hatred demands to be felt. But the longer you hold onto that feeling, the more miserable you will surely become.

We convince ourselves this will somehow make things change. In reality, harboring those feelings will keep you swirling in your own tornado of hatred, often bringing your overall mood down.

You, the hater, remains intrenched in hatred, while the other continues on with their life, freely.

Do not fall into the trap of wasting your energy on hatred. Feel the feelings as they come up, but don't allow them to overstay their welcome.

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.” – Ephesians 4:31

Remaining hopeful, despite your circumstances, can actually improve your ability to cope, to partake in healthy behaviors and increases your overall well-being.

Hope is what gives us that push to keep going. Hope is what reminds us that it hasn't always been like this, and it doesn't have to stay like this.

Hope is at the core of the age old adage "this too shall pass".

So, what are holding hope for?

Taking care of one another is vital to maintaining emotional, mental & spiritual wellness. When we are unable to come together in community, we can quickly feel isolated, misunderstood, & hopeless.

Consider the following questions: Who do you turn to during hard times? Are you available to be there for them when they face hardships? How can you show up more for your community (and in turn, watch how they show up for you)?
