Currently, to be paid for Office-based Surgery (OBS) procedures by Medicare requires additional forms, complex billing procedure, manual review and patience. Medicare doesn't have a standardized reimbursement process for reimbursement for OBS - yet.

Dr. Hindman is just one ophthalmologist of many who is advocating for a standardized OBS reimbursement process.
