A big thank you to Jill Rasa with RD Nutrifit for presenting today.

Jill touched on "Big Picture" nutrition and the surprising overlap between the nutritional gaps of professonals and those we serve in our senior community.

From Protein and Fiber to Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Calcium and Hydration, she helped bust common myths and focused on how to stay fueled.

While professionals struggle with the "busy-on-the-go" lifestyle, patients/clients struggle with physiological changes of aging. The solution is similar: getting back to the basics of the right balance of macro and micronutrients.

There’s no magic bullets or supplements out there. We must focus on the basics of eating the right foods and getting the right movement.
