The Ohana Project The Ohana Project is a non-profit organization. Over the two years The Ohana Project has self-funded an unorthodox transitional house.

During the past year we have invited a dozen or so individuals of varying age and demographic backgrounds into our hearts. The Ohana Project seeks to become a family of the participant's choosing, providing critical support to those struggling with mental, behavorial , interpersonal challenges including substance abuse. To key objectives of the Ohana Project to save lives and minimize family members from being caught in the spiritual , mental and emotional death of being incarcerated. The Ohana Project has provided housing , transportation, funds for attorney's and other legal fees, counseling sessions (including individual, relationship and group counseling). Our approach seeks to place focus on lifestyle changes , habits including coping skills , with sustained focus (over time) , measurable outcomes , enmeshed with unconditional love and support . Ohana means family, No One Gets Left Behind or Forgotten.
