MidAmerica Family Treatment Center Specializing in attachment and bonding between parents and children, foster care, LGBTQ+ individuals, and individuals with developmental disabilities.

Children who have experienced separation from their primary caregiver, who have experienced neglect at home or in an institutional setting such as an orphanage, or have had to move from home to home often have difficulty with trust, empathy, impulse control, and following family rules. Often, these struggles create divisions in the family that just wants to provide a home for a child or youth. MidAmerica Family Treatment Center works with the entire family through therapy, support, and a rebalancing of the famliy system. For families who provide foster care, MAFTC is a Kansas and Missouri Medicaid provider.
