Governor’s Council on Disability (GCD) Annual Poster Contest for National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)
The GCD has launched its annual Poster Contest to raise awareness about the importance of employment inclusion and to highlight the valuable contributions of individuals with disabilities to the workforce. Celebrated each year in October, NDEAM recognizes the skills and talents that workers with disabilities bring to America’s workplaces and economy. This year marks the 80th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) and the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
