Stephanie consistently steps up when something needs to be done. Whether she’s taking on extra responsibilities or helping guide the housekeeping team, her reliability and initiative make a meaningful impact every day.

Franko has been a wonderful addition to our team. He’s dependable, kind to residents and coworkers, and always willing to jump in wherever he’s needed. His positive attitude shows in everything he does.

We recently spent the day at Union Station exploring the Titanic exhibit, stepping back in time to experience the story behind one of history’s most well-known voyages. From the incredible planning and construction of the world’s largest ship to the powerful moments of its maiden journey, it was a meaningful and memorable outing for all of us who attended. A day filled with learning, reflection, and great company.

We had such a great time on our recent outing to the Gates BBQ bottling factory, followed by lunch at their Brooklyn location!

🍽️ Residents enjoyed learning about the history of Gates during a presentation and tour, then experiencing it firsthand at the restaurant.

The fun didn’t stop there. The following week, the Gates team brought that same presentation to our assisted living residents here at McCrite, and they also made a trip to the restaurant to enjoy the experience. 🙌

We are grateful for community partners like Gates who take the time to connect, share their story, and create meaningful experiences for our residents. ❤️

👯‍♀️✨ We’re kicking off our very first “Twinsday” post, and it only feels right to start from the beginning.

Back at the start of the year, Judy McCrite and Alayne Webb from Marketing showed up in perfect sync, sporting matching red plaid pants and black tops. No planning, just great minds thinking alike.

It’s little moments like these that add to the fun of everyday life here.

We had an EGG-stra special morning at McCrite Plaza this weekend. 🐰🥚

Residents, families, and staff came together to celebrate with photos with the Easter Bunny, crafts, and of course a lively Easter egg hunt. It was a beautiful day filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of sweet surprises.

A big thank you to our amazing Activities team for putting together such a fun event. You make memories like these possible. 💛

Movie Night at McCrite 🎥🍿

We had a packed house for our screening of Song, Sung, Blue at McCrite!

The popcorn and root beer floats were flowing as residents and guests settled in for our very own premiere. It was a fun and memorable way to experience this heartfelt film together.

Song, Sung, Blue tells the story of Mike and Claire Sardina, a married Milwaukee couple who discover joy, purpose, and unexpected success as a Neil Diamond tribute act, “Lightning & Thunder.”

There’s nothing better than sharing great stories, good treats, and time together.

What a great day at our Open House! ☘️

From connecting with residents, families, and referral partners to enjoying incredible entertainment, the energy throughout the community was something special. Guests also enjoyed a great spread of food and drinks that kept everyone gathering and mingling throughout the day.

We loved seeing everyone come together for the Pipe and Drum performance, the talented dancers from Driscoll’s School of Irish Dance, and a fantastic set from Eddie Delahunt in the City Lights Club.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success!
