Members Cynthia and Cotter met at Chicken N Pickle where Laura was teaching a yoga class. We’ll let Cynthia tell the rest:

“When Cotter and I first started dating in July 2020, many of our dates were at Chicken N Pickle for beer yoga— We loved getting together on Sunday mornings for a beer or a Quirk and doing yoga outside for 45 minutes. That’s where we first met Laura, who gave us a card for a free class at RSF, and we have been members practicing yoga regularly since then. I personally love how yoga centers and helps me realize that it is ok to relax and do something for myself. We met during the pandemic and were married in Sept 2021, so Cotter has 'Pandemic Love Story' inscribed inside his wedding ring.”

Special day for the RSF Yoga fam! ✨

Melanie was the very first member of our studio. Since that day she has dedicated herself to her yoga practice week in and week out.

Earlier this year she decided to take her practice a step further and complete her 200YTT and she did it! ✨

We are thrilled to announce that Melanie will be teaching every Monday at 5:30pm in the studio!

We can’t wait to experience her flows and continue to learn and grow along side her!

August Meet Up! ☀️🧘🏼‍♀️

Meet up with your RSF yogi friends and the larger KC yoga community August 20th 11am They host a weekly free community class on the Lawn of the Nelson Atkins Museum. The class is free, but they do accept donations. We love their mission to make yoga inclusive and accessible in the KC area. Bring your mat and a water bottle!

Book club is back! 📚

Join us for our first book club meeting August 17th after Mindful Yoga.

We will discuss reading through The Yamas & Niyamas: Exploring Yoga's Ethical Practice by Deborah Adele.

Our first meeting we will discuss the preface through the 5th chapter of the book.
