On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, in partnership with Happy Bottoms, Uzazi Village hosts a Diaper Depot to provide free diapers to families in need, from newborn through size 6. Whether you need a one-time donation or ongoing support, this program is here to help.

Diapers are free, but please schedule an appointment to ensure we have the right size on hand.

We’re thrilled to welcome Janice Ingram as Uzazi’s new Program Manager of Doulas and Educational Programs.

Janice is the owner of Blissful Beginnings Doula Services LLC and has been serving as a birth professional for over 6 years. Certified as both a Doula and Childbirth Educator, she brings a powerful blend of compassion, advocacy, and hands-on experience to her work.

Her support has touched every corner of the birthing community—from maternal health education and lactation peer counseling to mentoring new doulas and training car seat technicians. Janice is especially committed to uplifting families who receive Medicaid assistance, ensuring they have access to the resources they deserve.

Her advocacy extends far beyond the birthing room. Known for her “boots on the ground” approach, Janice partners with initiatives like Cribs for Kids and Safe Kids, working to bridge gaps for families across Missouri and Kansas.

We’re honored to welcome Janice to the Uzazi team and grateful for the leadership, heart, and community care she brings.
