Happy beautiful souls! It's another day to have gratitude and be in the moment 🙏🙏

So I ask you these questions. Take a minute to think about how your body is feeling. What hurts? What's working and what's not working so well? Where do you experience chronic pain? Are you in tune with your body to know something ain't right?

These are questions I ask clients during our initial intake session. The body holds emotions that aren't processed and resolved. There's no getting around this.

When I began my healing journey, I was struggling with a multitude of ongoing pains as well as a disconnect between my mind, body and spirit.

I struggled with digestive issues.

I struggled with chronic insomnia.

I had skin rashes and eruptions.

I always wanted sugar.

I had muscle aches and pains.

I always felt exhausted and tired.

I was very unsatisfied with my life overall.

I was always anxious and irritable.

I had so much pinned up and unresolved emotions that my body didn't really know what to do anymore to be balanced and well. My mind was a blur.

As I talk with clients, I now realize this is a pretty "normal" space for many people to be in. Most folks are on autopilot just trying to get through the day living in survival mode.

Unresolved emotions like anger and shame bury deep into the body and sit dormant waiting for the perfect storm of life to hit. I didn't really notice how this was impacting me until I reached my 40s but by then I had been in survival mode for so long that I was accustomed to the ways my body had begun to rebel against me.

Happy beautiful souls! Another day to be in the moment 🙏 with gratitude!

Finished reading yesterday. This quote stuck out to me because so many folks wear a mask when they go into the world.

I don't have a traditional mindset or belief system and at times I find myself censoring my voice so I don't offend anyone.

Being your most transparent and authentic self is scary especially in a world that is so judging. Being vulnerable is scary sometimes.

When our inner self doesn't match our outer self it causes serious anxiety.

My hope for myself and others is to have enough courage to be exactly the person that I am without holding back. Be a kind and compassionate human that speaks her truth while also hearing the truth of others.

Happy 🙏🙏 another great day to be in the moment and have gratitude!!

One of the things I'm working on within me is to find balance in my spirit--Balance between my go getter masculine energy and my soft vulnerable feminine energy.

It ain't easy!! Let me tell you!!

I've always referred to myself as a "strong personality". I've never really had the opportunity to nurture my

I've always had to make s**t happen. Be goal driven. Be on top of things.

I'm allowing myself to receive. Let go of control. Be in tune with my body.

I'm loving this evolution 😍 of self. For the first time in a long time I'm content to be exactly where I am in life. Letting go of the vision or idea of how I think it should be. Being in the moment is incredibly freeing!

Happy beautiful souls!! It's another day to have gratitude 🙏🙏 and be in the moment.

I'm reading a new book called "You can heal your life" by Louise Hay and this is a passage in the first chapter. Actually more like a for acceptance and love of self and life.

"In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole and complete.

I believe in a power far greater than I am that flows through me every moment of every day.

I open myself to the wisdom within, knowing that there is only One Intelligence in this Universe.

Out of this One Intelligence comes all of the answers, all of the solutions, all of the healings, all of the new creations.

I trust this Power and Intelligence, knowing that whatever I need to know is revealed to me, and that whatever I need comes to me in the right time, space, and sequence.

All is well in my world."

Lately, I have been working on being at peace with life as it is rather than lamenting over how I think life should be instead.

For me it's been helpful to look at life happening FOR me rather than TO me. It helps to keep things in perspective as well as with understanding.

Happy Thursday beautiful souls! It's another day to have gratitude 🙏🙏 and be in the moment!!

One of the themes that consistently arises with so many of my clients is that of emotional availability. This is applicable for family, platonic as well as romantic relationships. Feeling like you're putting in more energy than you're getting back is really common. Here's some additional things to think about

-Do I like calling the shots?
-Who does the bulk of the relationship work?
-Do I struggle with making and keeping plans?
-Are all of my relationships surface level?
-Do I reveal my emotions?
-Do I know how to recognize when others are emotionally available?

I can't even lie. I've spent half of my life in relationships where the other person was not emotionally available. These relationships leave extreme emptiness and disappointment because at the end of the day we all have needs to be filled and if I'm the one constantly making relationship deposits then who is doing that for me?

It's important for you to do YOUR work and reflect on your relationships and the energy deposit you're making within them. I'm always available for that complimentary consultation if you need to explore this topic in more detail.

But for real.... don't let your emotions dictate to you. Emotions lie. Deal with them babies!! Manage them instead!!

Happy beautiful souls!! Another day we have to with gratitude!

I picked up yesterday and got about 2/3rds of the way through it. A lot of what she says resonates with me. I especially loved this line from her book

"There is no glory except straight through your story."

This is such a true statement. As much as we might try and shortcut the process we stay stagnant until we surrender to the process. Stagnation is a slow killer.

Thrive through life and do the work no matter how painstaking it might be at the moment. Get to the other side where you can begin to instead of just surviving.

Happy Tuesday beautiful souls 🙏 it's another day of gratitude and living in the moment!

If you're not getting your rest then you're setting yourself up for chronic health issues at some point later in your life. The whole "I'll sleep when I'm dead" thing is really overrated and folks need to understand that when the body and brain are sleep deprived on a long-term and consistent basis that gnarly things begin to happen.

As much as we enjoy the extra sunlight, vibes and social time that summer brings, we also have to think about our schedule and how we're treating our bodies.

Happy Tuesday beautiful souls 😍 it's another day to have gratitude and be in the moment!!

Like everything else, the concept of self-care has been trivialized to nothing but a ranking on an SEO hashtag report. We've got to do better in really taking care of self. Being intentional with our time to do the things that enhance and create a real sense of well-being is the best way to keep the mind-body-soul connection balanced and well.
