The holidays are a time for warmth, connection, and compassion. But for many adults in our community, this season comes with uncertainty and nowhere else to turn.
At Heartland Center for Behavioral Change, our Community Residential Unit (CRU) provides a recovery-focused, low-barrier place for individuals coming out of crisis. It is not a shelter. It is a space for stability, healing, and next steps toward recovery when other options are out of reach.
As we close out the year, our goal is to raise $10,000 to support CRU bed nights for people who need safety, care, and hope during the holidays.
If you’re able, please consider making a gift today. Your compassion helps ensure recovery is possible, even at the hardest moments.
Thank you for being part of a community that chooses care and dignity.
