We are thrilled to introduce Dr. Marina Rios, a board-certified optometrist who will be serving as Moyes Eye Center’s resident for the 2025–2026 year. Dr. Rios brings a strong passion for glaucoma care and corneal disease management, and she looks forward to deepening her expertise in these areas throughout her residency.

She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Originally from the Kansas City area, Dr. Rios is excited to return home and serve our community.

After 33 years of dedicated service, Patsy has officially retired from Moyes Eye Center.

She first joined the practice in May 1992 and has been part of its growth, evolution, and many milestones over the decades. In October 2002, she was there as the practice became Moyes Eye Center, where she continued to work alongside Dr. Andrew Moyes and Dr. Anthony Verachtert, who joined in 2000.

Throughout her career, Patsy has cherished the opportunity to work with incredible patients, dedicated doctors, talented coworkers, and dear friends. She will miss the daily interactions, the laughter, and the shared moments, but she will carry with her countless memories and the deep connections she has built.

Her dedication, warmth, and commitment have left a lasting mark on the practice and the people she has worked with. As she enters this new chapter, Patsy extends her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of her journey.
