Look at these two cuties---our beautiful parents marrying 75 years ago in Washington, Pennsylvania on August 5, 1950 and then celebrating their 50th Golden Anniversary in Mississippi in 2000. They are together in heaven but the life they lived and the legacy they left through children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren continues on.

Any Ewings out there?

"Ewing in Early America" by Margaret Ewing Fife, published in 2003, is a wonderful well researched book focusing on the history of this family. This hardcover book is a valuable addition to any collection of genealogy and family research.

Week 7 of this years challenge. My husband and I kept a farm and farm life diary for 25 years. Now I know their value as a genealogy source.
