Beacon Hill McFeders Community Council Organized in 1974, the Community Council serves the interests of Beacon Hill residents.

Beacon Hill-McFeders Community Council has been serving the Beacon Hill residents for over 40 years. Community Council membership is open to all persons who are residents of, operate a business or institution in the Beacon Hill neighborhood, from 22nd to 31st street, Troost Avenue to Paseo Blvd, including 25th & Flora.

Good morning, neighbors, I hope everyone is well and staying warm and safe.

Yesterday, the Beacon Hill-McFeders Executive Board met and started discussing our goals and priorities for this year. We also set the date for the next residents' meeting.

Please mark your calendars for Saturday, Jan. 25, at 10am and plan to join us via Zoom. We will send the link via email and I will post here, too. Save the date and plan to join us virtually.

Due to weather, trash and recycling pick-up is canceled this week for Monday & Tuesday. 2 extra bags will be allowed next week.

Additionally, if your trash was not collected on Saturday as part of delayed service for New Years, you are permitted to put out 2 extra bags without bag tags. kcmo.gov/trash
