We had the opportunity to visit Alphapointe and see firsthand the incredible impact of their work in our community. Alphapointe received a Community Grant from The Research Foundation in 2023, 2024, and 2025. The organization empowers people with vision loss to achieve their goals and aspirations. It is one of the largest employers of people who are blind in the U.S. and a leading regional resource for people with vision loss, providing products and services nationwide. We were impressed by how they empower individuals with vision loss with their truly innovative programs, employment opportunities, and essential services.
During the visit, our staff as well as members of our Board of Directors and Advisory Directors learned about Alphapointe’s inspiring history and mission before touring their clinic. It was a meaningful experience to witness how community support helps create opportunities and improve lives every day. Thank you to Alphapointe for welcoming us and for the important work you do to help people with vision loss!
