INTRODUCING THE TEAM!

Hi, my name is Brianna Reed, and I’m an Occupational Therapy Assistant at PWR Neuro.
I bring six years of experience in sub-acute rehab, where I built a strong foundation working with individuals with neurological conditions to improve function, mobility, and independence. In addition to my OTA degree, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, which deepens my understanding of movement science and helps me tailor individualized treatment plans.
In the clinic, I’m known for problem solving, adaptability, and creating meaningful and goal-driven therapy sessions. I value building trust and supporting our patients through each step of their rehabilitation journey. At PWR Neuro, we celebrate progress—big or small!
What I enjoy most about working here is our commitment to innovative, evidence-based neuro rehabilitation. Our team culture is supportive, collaborative, and always centered around patient success. I’m proud to be part of an organization that empowers individuals and their families to regain function, independence and confidence in their daily lives.
When I’m not at work, I'm spending time where it matters most - with my son. I love spending quality time with family and friends and staying active, whether it's outside or at the gym.

WE'RE HAPPY TO INTRODUCE THE TEAM!

Hi, I'm Derek Boyd, Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at PWR Neuro.

Before joining PWR Neuro, I worked as a contract therapist across many neuro settings, treating stroke survivors, individuals with MS and those with cancer in their central nervous systems. That's where I fell in love with neuro - the way the brain, nerves and muscles interact and how differently each condition presents itself.

The complexity keeps me curious. I love the challenge, the creativity and the opportunity to help people make powerful, life-changing progress.

After spending time in many environments, PWR Neuro stood out.

The atmosphere here is creative and collaborative, always focused on finding better solutions. It's been the most meaningful and exciting work of my career so far!

Outside of PWR Neuro, you'll find me on my small farm with the animals, in the garden with my girlfriend, behind my drums, playing a record, or staying active through climbing, lifting, or my latest obsession, cycling.

PWR Neuro co-sponsored the "Fun and Games" Trivia Night last week which supports the Ben Rubin Parkinson's Wellness Program at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park, KS. Not only did we have a blast chatting it up with the attendees, we also won the 2nd round of trivia!

Hi! I’m Thresa Kussman, Occupational Therapist and co-founder of PWR Neuro in Kansas City. My inner research geek and love of neuro rehab inspired the creation of our specialized evaluation protocols and innovative treatment approach for people living with Parkinson’s Disease, MS, stroke, and other neurological conditions.

At PWR Neuro, my goal is simple: to help individuals with neurological conditions move, think, and live better — every day for the long term.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find me exploring KC’s vibrant neighborhoods, entertaining friends and family, or making art. These creative outlets keep me inspired and grounded — a reminder that growth takes many forms, both in and outside the clinic.

Meet Devin Winter, PT, Owner and Co-Founder of PWR Neuro
Hi, I’m Devin Winter, owner of PWR Neuro! I’ve been a Physical Therapist since 2010. I love working with all conditions, but since the beginning, I have found special joy in problem solving with my patients with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions. My goal is to help people move better, live fuller lives, and rediscover what’s possible with unique advanced tools such as shockwave, Electromagnetic Stimulation in conjunction with practical motions like getting on and off the floor. I’m excited to bring advanced neuro rehab to our Kansas City community! Outside of work, I live life to the fullest with my wife and five wonderful kids.
