We hope everyone had a Happy Veteran’s Day yesterday and that all the Veterans felt the gratitude that we cannot put into words. 🇺🇸 Here at The Ashton we feel so privileged to have Veterans among our own Plaza community. Luminos Hospice helped us recognize those individuals for their service and dedication to our country. During our ceremony, you could feel the warmth of appreciation from everyone and the pride of our Veterans. It was our true honor to celebrate them and so very thankful for their sacrifice! ❤️🤍💙

Tomorrow November 11th is The Ashton's Friendsgiving KC from 4:00pm-6:00pm. All are invited to join us for a BBQ feast, trivia, photo booth, and take-home Friendsgiving dessert. We still have some space left available so RSVP with the concierge at 816-839-6060. Friendsgiving KC will be after our Veteran's Ceremony (that starts at 1:00pm). We look forward to seeing you there!

Last Friday our Magnolia Trails neighborhood hosted our Monster Mash Halloween Party and it was a hit with the whole house! 🎃 Halloween BINGO, cookie decorating, hot apple cider, music, prizes, and storytelling by Christine Henderson! We definitely had a happy Halloween here. We hope everyone else did too! If you didn’t make it to this party, be on the lookout for our next party on November 11th. More information coming soon. ☺️

Tomorrow is Sweetest Day, and to celebrate, our community teamed up to spread some sweetness! The talented bakers of Magnolia Trails whipped up delicious cupcakes, our Assisted Living residents added their creative flair with beautiful decorations, and together we delivered these treats to our local heroes at the Kansas City Fire Department.

We are so incredibly grateful that the KCFD is a vital and cherished part of our community. Thank you for all you do!
