πŸ‘‹ Meet Madison Kidwell, a third semester Bachelor of Science in Nursing student. We're excited to feature our student ambassadors this fall as they share their unique perspectives about KU School of Nursing.

Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Madison knew KU was the right place for her. "I chose KU School of Nursing because of the exceptional quality of education and the friendliness of everyone I spoke with during the application process. From the beginning, I could tell KU was more than just a program, it was a family, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it."

Madison is excited to join the nursing workforce and take the knowledge and skills she's learned from our faculty into the real world. "My favorite thing about the program is the dedication of the faculty to our success. They truly care about helping us grow into confident, compassionate nurses."

πŸ‘‹ Meet Alex Harper, a third semester Bachelor of Science in Nursing student. We're excited to feature our student ambassadors this fall as they share their unique perspectives about KU School of Nursing.

Coming from a military family, Alex has lived in many different places throughout her life. But to her, Kansas always felt like home.

"When applying to nursing school, I knew that the KU School of Nursing would set me up to be successful. I trusted that KU would provide me with unique opportunities and give me the tools and connections I need to prepare for the nursing profession. I’m so glad that I got to continue to be a Jayhawk all through my undergraduate experience!"

Alex is enjoying all the different aspects of nursing school, but enjoys the hands-on clinical experience the most. "I’ve loved the time I’ve gotten to spend in a hospital setting. Those experiences have taught me so much about who I want to be as a nurse and affirmed that nursing is the profession for me."

πŸ‘‹ Say hello to Selah Worsham, a third semester Bachelor of Science in nursing student. We're excited to feature our student ambassadors this fall as they share their unique perspectives about KU School of Nursing.

Hailing from Atchison, Kansas, Selah chose KU because of our caliber of education. "I knew I wanted a program that would challenge me, support me and help me grow into the kind of nurse I want to be. KU has definitely done that," said Selah.

"I love how many ways there are to get involved in the program. There are so many organizations, leadership opportunities and events for nursing students. The program can definitely be challenging, but KU does a great job of helping us balance everything."

As Selah prepares for her career in nursing, she's excited to take everything she's learned at KU School of Nursing and apply it in the clinical setting.
