This past Summer Solstice, our community gathered at Cezanne Art Studio for a magical evening of breath, sound, and ceremony. 🌞 Guided by intention and surrounded by art, we opened our hearts, and journeyed into deep serenity together.

Now, as the Autumn Equinox approaches, we’re returning to this beautiful space to honor another sacred turning of the seasons. 🌗

In our lives, we plant seeds. We nurture them. Finally, we enjoy the bountiful harvest of our efforts. Let's take time to recognize the experiences of growth and expansion in our lives and celebrate with a Bountiful Harvest Sound Bath!

We'll begin in the Community Room and then move to the indoor pool to float and enjoy the sound bath. With the didgeridoo, drums, singing bowls, and many other instruments, uplifting sound wave vibrations will be offered by Community as Medicine's Amy Renee - Dearheart and Pauly Lama.

Please wear your swimsuit and bring a towel, water bottle, and a change of clothes, if desired.
Light refreshments will be offered as we share in community following the sound bath.

WHAT MAKES A COMMUNITY?
AND WHAT IS IT TO YOU?

The word "community” signifies "public spirit," or "fellowship". It's derived from the Latin word "commūnis," which means "commonness," "public," or "shared".

Our human webs provide essential feelings of connectedness, belonging, and meaning. Communities are indeed the core and essence of humanity, around which everything else is woven or spun. They provide emotional and practical security and a sense of continuity through shared memory.

They give us a sense of purpose. They sustain us throughout our lives, in neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and apartment buildings, as well as in more extended networks of friendship and common purpose. These human webs are generally intimate enough to allow face-to-face contact. They depend on personal knowledge and trust.

They are a primary source of happiness in good times, and essential sources of support and solace during bad times. Community is medicine, for the soul & for the spirit.

As we sprout into the Spring, our first Sound & Light Journey of the year will bud! Come play with us at KC Yoga Kula with Roze of Rosie Marie Therapies / Advocate Self Care & the Lucia Light. Upcoming events will also offer an option to sit with another Light machine called the Dream Machine if lying down is not a preferred position.
