Got to enjoy coffee yesterday morning with chiropractor Dr. Emma Allen

Care for my clients doesn’t stop when they leave my table.

One of the things I value most about being part of the Wellness Consortium is the community of trusted professionals I get to work alongside. Having that kind of network means I can help guide my clients to the care they truly need, not just what I personally offer.

Dr. Allen is one of those professionals I trust in that process.

She takes a whole-body approach, combining hands-on care with lifestyle and nutritional support to help create real, lasting change. She also specializes in the cervical spine and works with hypermobile patients.

This is what real care looks like, having the right people in your corner.

Hip Mobility Part 3/3

Mobility isn’t just about stretching…
It’s about creating control in the ranges your body actually uses.

If your hips don’t move well, your swing, posture, and power will always be limited.

Build the range.
Control the range.
Then use it.

⛳️If your hips feel tight, restricted, or just “off”…
it’s probably limiting more than you think.
That’s where we start.

Unlock Motion. Unlock Game.

Session 1 results from the Structural Integration Bodywork series.

In just one session, we started creating real change:
• Head sitting more over the shoulders
• Arms beginning to fall back to the sides
• Pelvis slightly less anterior tilt
• Feet more aligned (especially the left)
• Shoulders opening up

This first session focuses on the whole body — legs, core, arms, and neck — working to create space and restore natural alignment.

From here, sessions 2–5 get more specific, breaking things down segment by segment to continue building on these changes.

The goal isn’t just posture…
It’s better movement, less restriction, and long-term relief.

This kind of change directly impacts rotation, balance, and how efficiently you move.

If you’ve been dealing with tightness or feeling out of alignment, this is where we start.

Whether you’re a golfer or not… this hip mobility matters.

Most people try to force more rotation…
But if your hips don’t move well, your body will always feel restricted.

This is Part 2 of a simple hip mobility series to help you:
• Move better
• Reduce stress on your low back
• Create smoother, more efficient movement

For golfers, this means more rotation and a better swing.

For everyone else, it means less stiffness and better everyday movement.

Because your body isn’t meant to feel stuck.
If your hips feel tight or your movement feels limited…
this is where you start.

Most people miss this muscle when dealing with tight hips or low back pain.

The psoas connects your spine to your hip.
So when it gets tight…
it can literally pull on your low back and limit how you move.

That’s why stretching your back or hips doesn’t always fix the problem.
You have to address the source.

If your swing feels restricted, your hips feel tight, or your low back pain keeps coming back…
this muscle is likely part of the problem.

Reposting this with captions so you can follow along—didn’t save the first time.😂

Tight hips or low back pain?

It might not just be “tightness.”
It could be a deeper muscle pulling directly on your spine.

The psoas connects your low back to your hip.
So when it gets tight…
It literally pulls on your low back and limits how you move.

That’s why stretching your back or hips doesn’t always fix the problem.

You have to address the source.

Restricted swing, tight hips, or low back pain that keeps coming back?
This muscle is likely part of the problem.
