3 weeks until we begin our next BARRE teacher training!! Join us with master teacher trainer, Anna Bazalar. Anna has been in the barre world for 19 years! She comes from the old school original works of BARRE. Anna provides an in-depth training to teach a solid, safe, effective & fun Barre workout. She highlights the importance of foundational groundwork, true to form & technique, as well as a very well-rounded approach to teaching that comes from all her years of teaching, leading teacher trainings and her own continuing education.

In this training:
You will learn to cue, find your teaching voice, musicality, and choreography. Learn to be on the mic, get out of your comfort zone, and build confidence. We learn anatomy that pertains to barre. Cueing modifications for injuries and pregnancies & hands on adjustments.

Ashley Lifgren now living in Minnesota! She a seasoned Barre and Yoga instructor turned hockey, soccer, baseball, dance Mom. Ashley was one of the OG instructors at Barre Soul Kauai when opening back in 2014. She has a love for dance that brings inspiration to her Barre classes. Her goal is to not only give a good barre burn but to elevate her classes in a way that leaves her students feel uplifted and exhilarated.

Yesterday was such a scary day! Elijah had an on-going earache, couple different ear drops & also antibiotics, nothing was working. The back of his ear was also so swollen, we were back in the Urgent Care for the 3rd time in 10 days. This time the doctor says he had developed mastoiditis and hadn’t seen a case like this in 10 years, and he needed IV antibiotics and to go to the ER asap. Needless to say, the emotions were high.

He was treated with IV antibiotics and had a blood panel done. He woke up today in much better spirits & so much better. Thank goodness. 🙏🏽
•
I just want to thank this community of women I’m surrounded with every day. Their care for me and my family. The grace I’m given as I shuffle my days between work & family. YOU are my village. THANK YOU! The juggle is real. Feeling grateful for continued support.

Our Mexico Retreat is quickly approaching and we added the main house wing of our Casa! It wasn’t going to be ready but it is and It is gorgeous! ✨✨✨ we add 4 more guests now!
Our collective energy is taking shape and as we continue to build up our excitement in the anticipation of what's to come: We get to spend 9 full retreat days & 9 nights together! FEB 8-18th, 2023!

Our theme is Align & Shine. This time will be well versed in self-study, adventure, meditation, barre, yoga, journaling and rest time. It is time to get away from the busy and spend time with self and our physical community.

This time will be so incredibly valuable to YOU! This retreat will offer you a healing touch of taking time for yourself to unplug and relax and let your mind and your body get it's rhythm back on track. You'll have delicious healthy meals, healing therapies, self-improvement discussions, meditation, yoga, barre, and so much more enrichment!

Wednesday is the arrival day, where you will all be picked up from Puerto Vallarta airport and shuttled in to the property, Casa de Caballo Sonador. This day you will settle in to your house and room, enjoy the pool and the Casa and hang with other fellow retreat guests as you settle in. We open our retreat this evening with a welcome dinner and sound bath for a great night sleep. Rest assured our casa is locked every night, and the house host Alex & Kelli are on call for any needs throughout our time here.

Every morning: You'll awaken gently to the morning with a light breakfast, fruit, coffee and/or tea. We will also have fresh juices every morning 🌱

On excursion days, we will have lunch to go.

In the evenings we will gather for dinners together, either at our Casa or out to some of our favorite restaurants!

We have some wonderful excursions to enjoy, some lovely beach walks, and beach days too. Great adventure and rest time. Time to seek deeper into ourselves and time to dance & let loose.

The simple act of practicing gratitude on a regular basis actually reduces depression and increases happiness. This not only feels good, it takes pressure off our nervous system, gives our adrenals a rest, and can even lower blood pressure. Gratitude also enhances empathy which is the key to understanding each other. It helps us embrace different viewpoints and build positive relationships which can be an especially useful tool at family dinner.😉

Personally, when I focus on what I’m thankful for, rather than what is weighing me down, it has helped me through some of my toughest times. I have seen first hand the power of this seemingly simple practice. The piles of notebooks with all my blessings are tangiable reminders to look for light when things get dark. Gratitude has become a non-negotiable foundation for me.
