🦞❤️🦞❤️ Despite the weather today, we still enjoyed our annual crawfish boil! The crawfish were delicious, thanks to Southern Bugz. We are all stuck with full bellies. Thank you to everyone who helped peel for our residents! 🦞❤️🦞❤️

Rehab Solutions donated a DELICIOUS sweet treat… I mean… who doesn’t love cookie cake ?!

Thank you Aging with Grace for hosting our delicious coffee bar! It was a hit!!!

Also, huge thank you to HOPE Healthcare and Hospice for the ice chest filled with ice-cream!

Today we threw a luau & limboed, enjoyed fruit kabobs, & had delicious meatballs + pineapples. 🍍

Our last day of nurses week… out with a bang 💙🌊

Southern Grace Hospice came & spent the day with us with a photobooth for our nurses to make special memories!

Billeaud's No. 3 treated our nurses to a delicious tray of boudin balls, boudin links, boudin egg rolls, and cracklin.

Nunu's Country Market- Maurice served us some amazing jambalaya & corn.

Our last Louisiana Crawfish Time award was presented to Tamara, our Nurse of the Year 2026. Congratulations Tamara!!!

The nurses were each gifted personalized ice chest’s with matching chairs, perfect for the summer months!!!

Our nurses all pulled together & celebrated our Director of Nursing, as this is her last nurses week with our crew… she will working as an FNP by next nurses week. Lots of laughs, smiles, and tears were shared.

Thank you to all of our incredible nurses for all that you do everyday for our residents 💙

Our amazing CNAs treated our nurses to a delicious hibachi lunch & even dressed the part!

Our Louisiana Crawfish Time awards were presented to Cinnamon (Nurse) Rising Star Award, Falon (MDS Nurse) Lifetime Achievement Award, and Bianca (Nurse) Unsung Hero Award.

We want to thank everyone who contributed to today’s fun & appreciation. The nurses are beyond grateful.
Way to go VHCC, not only the best residents… but the best nursing staff!!! ♥️☀️👏🏻

Today our nurses enjoyed a delicious lunch from Nunu's Country Market- Maurice, courtesy of Audubon Hospice Lafayette 💙

Bridgeway Hospice donated spa baskets, filled with beauty items for at home facials, lip gloss, body soap, lotion, etc. The perfect gift to tie in with today!

Our DON treated the nurses with massages, provided by The Divine Oasis. Leaving them feeling refreshed, reset & relaxed. Our night shift & weekend nurses were also treated to massages via gift certificates, courtesy of MadiSun Studios 🧡

Our physician, Dr. Hutchinson, generously gave us gift cards that the nurses wish to use to purchase community snacks & drinks for them to enjoy when they need a pick me up.

Also, we honored three more crystal award winners, sponsored by Louisiana Crawfish Time. Kelly (charge nurse) Mentor of the Year, Corinda (nurse) Excellence in Patient Advocacy Award, and Rachel (ADON) Innovation in Nursing Award. Congratulations Ladies!!!!
