"Therapy to me is the opportunity or place to address any mental struggles that impede living the full life we all deserve. Anyone should come to therapy if they desire to understand themselves better or receive support while navigating the tribulations of life. I always strive to help people feel safe, heard, validated, and less alone in their existence."
Therapy shouldn't be another source of anxiety or burden on a client or potential client. Of course, the thought of being vulnerable can cause some anxiety, but therapy can help to ease that anxiety during your first session and help you feel comfortable to continue to be vulnerable and motivate you to work on healing.
