There are way too many myths floating around about lip filler—so I’m setting the record straight.Whether it’s your first time hearing about it or you’ve been on the fence, here are the top 3 misconceptions I hear all the time… and the truth behind them:

❌ “You’ll look fake after 1 syringe”
👉 Most people only need 0.5–1 syringe for a subtle, natural result. Think enhancement, not overhaul.

❌ “Filler stretches your lips forever”
👉 Nope! When done properly, filler integrates naturally and dissolves over time. Your lips go back to normal if you stop.

❌ “It’s painful & takes forever to heal”
👉 With a skilled injector and numbing, discomfort is minimal—and most clients are back to their routine in a day or two.

Filler migration is more common than you think, especially with overfilling or poor placement over time.

Here’s what to watch for:
• A puffy “shelf” above the lip
• Blurred or undefined lip borders
• Heaviness or distortion in shape
• Lumps or uneven texture

The good news? It’s totally fixable!

If something feels off, don’t stress, it’s common and completely treatable.

Sometimes the best move is to dissolve and start fresh with a more balanced, natural approach.
