Can’t emphasize enough how amazing this staff is! We had the best time together last night, being creative and connecting. These pictures are an illustration of God’s goodness! He has orchestrated this team every step of the way and I am humbled and honored to lead them!

Wish you could be a fly on the wall and hear how each therapist advocates, prays, and consults for their clients. It is a deeply moving experience.

THIS IS SO IMPORTANT! Your journey towards healing WILL have highs and lows, and at times you will feel worse and wonder if you are getting better, BUT when you zoom out, you will see that you are! Progressively better and better. The path is not an easy one, but man it is better than staying still. Just past that horizon is a better day, and we won’t leave your side until you see it yourself!

I have had a hard time figuring out what to post after the weekend. I don’t want to simply show up on social media because that is what everyone does; it felt cheap and dishonest. After spending a few days feeling numb and overwhelmed, I felt the push to create something that will hopefully speak to where you are at if you are anything like me and wrestling with all the emotions that come after such devastation all around you.

I was visiting family in New Braunfels when we heard the news. That moment always feels like a dream, when your body is trying to catch up with what your brain is telling you. We watched the news as they discovered more and more devastation and plastered pictures of precious lost people. I’m a mental health professional and sit with people for a living who go through hard things, but no amount of training makes a person feel in control in a situation like this. This kind of news feels so overwhelming as I try and fathom the immense grief that is hitting our state.

So, I post this today not to indicate that a cheap few words is going to make it better, but to tell our community that we are here and we feel and we are ready to support you when and if you are in need.

We continue to hold onto hope until our savior returns and puts right all the suffering we endure.
