Today we celebrated freedom at Oakmont of Katy. Our annual June celebration commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans in the United States. Thank you to all of our guest musicians who performed and thank you to our dietary team for preparing the food. Juneteenth is a time to reflect on the end of slavery and celebrate Black history and culture.
