On National Cheeseburger Day, we took it to the next level with our Roll-A-Burger Challenge! Claudia, our DRS, served up her Award Winning Chili, bacon, and cheese-stuffed burger for lunch, too! “Life is too short to say no to a cheeseburger!”

What better way to enjoy the hot summer with a BYO (Build Your Own) Summer Sangria Bar! Our lovely residents grabbed a mason jar, filled it with a fresh fruit combination of their choice, added their preferred wine, and topped it off with apricot brandy. They took them home to and put them in the refrigerator and enjoyed them the next day at Happy Hour!

It’s Coca-Cola’s trademark day, so we served up Coke floats and listened to all our favorite tunes from the 1950s. We ended with a dance off, and it was a riot! Thank you to Nakia with Eclara Caring Hospice for sponsoring this fantastic event!

What a splash! We brought the car wash INDOORS for an unforgettable 4th of July sponsored by Lacy’s House. They washed walkers, wheelchairs, and mobility devices until they were sparkling clean. Our lifestyle director served up firecracker cocktails topped with frozen bomb pops. Our amazing culinary team smoked all the meats – chicken, ribs, and sausage for a BBQ dinner. Our residents were all smiles as we celebrated Independence Day with creativity, community, and so much fun! Happy 4th of July!
