Gulf Coast Blood - Katy Neighborhood Donor Center Commit for Life by donating at least once per quarter. More than 1,000 blood donations are needed every day.

Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center's Katy Neighborhood Donor Center includes:

- Five donor screening rooms and eight collection beds.
- Variety of ways you can choose to Commit for Life, including whole blood and Apheresis technology.
- Experienced and knowledgeable staff that is ready to answer your questions and care for you while you help save a life.
- Donor relaxation area featuring fresh-baked cookies daily for donors' comfort and enjoyment.
- Children's play area so that donors can watch their children enjoy videos, toys and games while donating.

June 14th, always a special date here for us at Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. It's World Blood Donor Day! Hip Hip Hooray!! Today we come together all over the world with the intent to pour back into our communities where we are needed most. It's important that we rally, show up in numbers, and donate blood and blood products all over the globe! Let's all be heroes in our communities, far, and near. Helping to save lives by doing your part, whether you volunteer, are a medical professional, or a donor, today is for you Hero!
