Some families just feel like your own family. We have walked through a lot of life, a C@vid pandemic, and the births of 3 babies with this sweet family and it is absolutely everything!! So you have a brand new little one but breastfeeding isn’t going how you imagined? Baby seems really uncomfortable? We see babies everyday to help with oral dysfunction and reducing body tension. 👶🏻

Here are some common signs that your baby may need bodywork help:
🚩sleeps with an open mouth
🚩has a shallow nursing latch
🚩clicks, spills milk, pops off the breast/bottle often while feeding
🚩feeding is painful for mom
🚩always falls asleep while nursing but is hungry again a short time later
🚩only turns the head one preferred way
🚩arches the back or seems really stiff
🚩excessive reflux, spit up, gas
🚩hands, arms, legs always flexed/closed tightly
🚩delayed movement milestones, abnormal patterns with movement

Things I would tell you as your chiropractor if I wasn’t afraid of hurting your feelings…

1️⃣As an adult, only getting adjusted once in a blue moon or “when you’re in pain” is not doing anything for you. 🤷🏼‍♂️

2️⃣One adjustment will not cure years of chronic pain & neglect. Healing the body doesn’t work like that. 🪫

3️⃣ I can always tell when you’re not stretching or exercising . (Hint: If I’m asking you, I already know the answer I’m just subtly calling out the elephant in the room)🐘

4️⃣Taking out your frustrations about the medical profession on me, when I’m the last person you’ve visited, really isn’t going to make you feel better. ☮️

5️⃣ Being repetively late, cancelling visits at the last minute or “no-showing” is NOT a vibe. It’s giving… disrespectful. ⏰

6️⃣You need to take more ownership & responsibility for your own health status. 💪

7️⃣ Go ahead and prebook that next adjustment now. You’ll thank yourself (and me) later. 📆
