🌟Therapist Thursday🌟
Hey there, I’m Jennifer — therapist, movie lover, true-crime ju**ie, and proud dog mom to Disco. 🐶✨
First off, huge congrats on putting your mental health first! Taking that first step toward therapy is brave — and let’s be honest, not always easy. My goal is to make that journey feel a little less scary and a lot more human.
In my sessions, you’ll find warmth, compassion, and maybe a few laughs along the way. I use a mix of CBT, DBT, ACT, and ERP (that’s therapist-speak for “let’s find what actually works for YOU”). I work with kids, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, Autism, OCD, and LGBTQ+ issues — and I have a special passion for helping those with disordered eating or body image concerns find peace and confidence again.
I’m also trained in EMDR therapy, which helps people process tough experiences so they don’t feel so overwhelming.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll probably find me at the movies, rewatching true-crime docs, or cleaning my house like it’s a competitive sport. (Yes, I actually enjoy it!)
Therapy doesn’t have to feel awkward or clinical — it’s about real conversations, growth, and feeling safe enough to be your full self. 🌱
