Many women come into therapy saying the same thing:
“I’m exhausted… and I don’t know why.”
They’ve been holding everything together for years.
High functioning. Responsible. Capable.
But underneath? Burned out.
What many women are discovering later in life is this:
They aren’t broken.
They’re neurodivergent.
For so long, research focused on boys.
Girls learned to mask. To perform. To push through.
To be “good.”
To be agreeable.
To be everything for everyone.
Masking works… until it doesn’t.
Burnout becomes the breaking point.
And sometimes burnout becomes the doorway to understanding.
With understanding comes relief.
With relief comes grief.
And with grief comes the chance to rebuild your life in a way that actually fits your nervous system.
If you’re a woman who feels like you’ve been running on fumes for years, you’re not alone.
We wrote a new blog:
“From Burnout to Understanding: When Women Discover They’re Neurodivergent.”
It might help you make sense of your story.
