Dr. Wells is a glaucoma specialist able to diagnose, manage and monitor patients with glaucoma. Carousel Dry Eye Clinic located inside Carousel Eyecare is dedicated to long term relief of dry eye symptoms. Every patient’s dry eye journey begins with a comprehensive evaluation.
At Carousel Eyecare, we use a three-phase approach to help identify the underlying cause and best management plan for each patient:
1. Slit lamp examination – Using specialized dyes and magnification, our doctors evaluate the cornea and eyelids for dryness, inflammation, or gland blockage. We also assess blink quality and meibomian gland function.
2. Health and lifestyle review – Several factors can contribute to dry eye symptoms, including certain medications, past eye surgeries (like LASIK), autoimmune conditions, or skincare products. Reviewing your health history gives us valuable context for personalized care.
3. Objective testing – Seeing is believing. With advanced imaging and analysis, we can visually assess the health of your tear film, glands, and ocular surface to build a clear picture of your eye comfort and function.
