đż May is Mental Health Awareness Month đż
With the whirlwind of joy and excitement this month, I almost forgot to share something incredibly important. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with 23 years of helping through healing, I want to take a moment to honor and advocate for Mental Health Awareness Month.
Mental health is âhealth.â If you prioritize your well-being, you're already on the path to healing and strength. And if youâre silently strugglingâŚplease know, you donât have to do it alone. Help is out there, and we are available for you.
A few things:
⨠You are your biggest priority.
⨠You are not a burden.
⨠Seeking help is a courageous act.
The stigma around mental health is slowly but surely breaking. To all mental health providers, letâs keep that momentum goingâby showing compassion, sharing resources, and supporting one another.
