Unplug anything with a lithium-ion battery as soon as it’s fully charged. Phones, toys, e-scooters, power tools, and more can start a fire if they are overcharged.

Charge into Fire Safety this by making this simple habit part of your routine.

Sparky continues the NASCAR fun! 🏎️

Join us Saturday, August 23, at the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona Speedway with Joey Gase Motorsports in #44!

The race airs on NBC and Peacock at 7:30 PM EST.

Look for this year’s theme, “Charge into Fire Safety™: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home,” on car #44 as it charges around the track.

From phones and laptops to e-bikes and power tools, rechargeable batteries are everywhere, and if not used correctly, can be a fire risk. Stay on track and charge devices on a hard surface and unplug when they’re fully charged.
