For day 2 of our Spirit Week, our staff showed up in their favorite team gear to celebrate Team Player Tuesday — a fun way to spotlight the collaboration and team spirit that make our care possible every day!

It was also Patient Appreciation Day, and we were proud to say thank you to our patients by sharing snacks in our lobbies as a small token of our gratitude. 💙

Wednesday of is Health Conditions Focus Day, and we are shining a spotlight on the importance of early detection and preventive care.

Health centers play a critical role in addressing acute and chronic conditions through prevention, early detection, and treatment. This day highlights efforts like vaccinations, cancer screenings, heart health, diabetes care, and managing chronic infectious diseases.

In 2023 alone:
📊 3M patients received diabetes care — 70% reached A1c control
💉 5.7M were treated for high blood pressure — 65% achieved blood pressure control
🥦 9M received obesity care — 72% of youth were screened and counseled on nutrition & activity

This focus day is a great opportunity to emphasize the significance of regular screenings and check-ups. In alignment with this focus, we encourage everyone to learn about the symptoms, risk factors, and screening options available for different health conditions. Empowering ourselves with knowledge is a powerful step toward a healthier community.
