Student Recognition Banquet for Top 10 Academic students of 5 area high school-plaques for valedictorians

2. Sponsor student for Constitution contest

3. Flag Day ceremony for community

4. Provide drug awareness material to local schools

5. Support Kaukauna Pride Team (8-12 graders that perform skits, songs, and dances against drugs)

6. Drug awareness poster contest

7. Hoop Shoot Basketball contest for area schools

8. Support scholarships for high school seniors (Elks are 2nd to the government in scholarship money-$3-4 million a year)

9. Support Veterans at King Home with money for treat coupons, birthday, and Christmas cards

10. Dictionaries for area 3rd graders

11. Boy Scout and Girl Scout donations

12. Money to Salvation Army for Christmas baskets

13. Disaster fund (local tragedies-i.e. Local requests (handicapped playground, Make a Wish for area student)

15. Assist other area Elks with Down Syndrome Awareness Walk

16. Support State Major Project-Camp Waubeek in Wisconsin Dells-respite care center for handicapped individuals

Calling all high school seniors: Applications for the 2026 Most Valuable Student scholarship contest are NOW OPEN!

The Elks National Foundation will award 500 scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in the competition, ranging from $4,000 to $30,000 over four years. No relation to the Elks is necessary to apply.
With this scholarship, students gain more than just financial aid—they gain an appreciation of service, a network of like-minded peers, and an for life.

On June 16, Kaukauna Elks held their annual Flag Day Ceremony. We had the help of the Scarlet Guard Color Guard and a lot of scouts. We honored our Citizens of the Year, Al and Donna Borchardt, for their years of work with our Grignon Home here in Kaukauna.

Kaukauna Elks is one of the major sponsors of the Breaking Boundaries Triathlon. It is a triathlon for special needs students from Kaukauna, Kimberly, and Little Chute.The students swim at the local YMCA, bike and then run/walk on a local trail, and then finish at Kaukauna High School. Students get a medal when crossing the finiah line with a lot of people cheering for them as they cross.

Kaukauna Elks #962 is pleased to announce that our lodge representative in the Wisconsin Elks US Constitution Contest placed first. Dylan Hacker will be awarded a scholarship of $3500. Dylan joins a group of Kaukauna students who have placed 1st; including the last four.
