Meet Suzanne Smith, CSW, this week’s from Therapeutic Conversations!
Suzanne obtained both her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Social Work from Weber State University. She takes a person-centered, strengths-based approach, believing that therapy should focus on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Suzanne values creating a safe, respectful space where clients are seen as the experts of their own lives and goals.
She has experience supporting teens and adults through challenges like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, and PTSD. Suzanne also enjoys working with couples, the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals navigating faith and life transitions.
Her therapeutic style draws from motivational interviewing, mindfulness, DBT, ACT, and CBT, helping clients gain tools for emotional regulation, acceptance, and personal growth.
Outside of her practice, Suzanne loves baking, drawing, crocheting, reading, and spending time with friends and family. You can also find her practicing yoga, meditation, or out on a walk enjoying the fresh air. 🌿
