Meet this week’s Corie McFall, AMFT, Clinical Therapist at Resilient Life Counseling & Wellness!
“Relationships can be challenging, and sometimes, in spite of your best efforts, misunderstandings, miscommunication, loneliness, and a lack of emotional safety and intimacy can make you feel like giving up.”
Corie is passionate about helping you develop the relationships you desire—with yourself, with a partner, with family and friends, and beyond. She believes that you are the expert in your own life, and it’s her privilege to walk alongside you as you develop greater self-understanding and intentionality. She especially enjoys working with couples, including mixed-faith couples or those struggling with sexual intimacy or communication. She also works with individual adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, religious or spiritual concerns, trauma, or identity-related challenges.
Corie employs several modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Bowenian Theory. She uses a client-centered approach and trusts your inner knowing and wisdom.
In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, spending time with family and friends, binge-watching a good show, and exploring new places. She is a homebody at heart, but she’ll never turn down a good adventure. She often has music playing and is always looking to learn something new.
She looks forward to working with you as you continue along your path!
