The recent Kona low storms took a toll on many of our neighbors, and for breastfeeding moms, a damaged pump is more than just a lost item because it serves as a literal lifeline for both mother and baby.

has brand-new pumps and supplies to replace those lost or damaged in the weather. This is available for families on any island.

We were honored to host the Kona Kohala Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee recently for an important update on the future of healthcare in our community!

Our CEO, Clayton McGhan, was joined by Jason Chang, CEO of The Queen’s Health System, to share the latest progress on our hospital and outpatient care center building projects.

Investing in our infrastructure means investing in the health and economic vitality of West Hawaii. It was a privilege to engage with our local business leaders and discuss how these developments will help us provide high-quality care for every patient, every day.

Our team was on Oahu recently for a collaborative 340b meeting! Rick Cleave, Pharmacy Director, and Amy Feeley-Austin, COO, from our West Hawaii Region team joined representatives from facilities across the state to discuss the latest regulations and opportunities for the 340b Pharmacy Program.

As a provider for a disproportionate share of Medicare and Medicaid recipients, this program is vital to our mission. It allows us to secure the same high-quality, brand-name medications at a significantly lower cost, ensuring we can continue providing every patient, every day with the care they deserve.

We are so grateful for the leadership of Stacy from our local public library, and the ongoing support of the Friends of the Library. They have just donated a beautiful collection of new books to be given to parents and their newborns.

We believe it’s never too early to start a lifelong love of reading. These books are ready to head home to be part of those first bedtime stories and snuggles.
