Our hearts go out to Kevin’s family, our teammates at the Ticonderoga base, and our entire LifeNet and Air Methods family during this incredibly difficult time. Out of respect for Kevin’s loved ones, we ask for privacy as they grieve.

We are devastated to share that Flight Paramedic Kevin Robert passed away last night, August 27th, following a sudden medical emergency. Kevin, alongside a flight nurse and pilot, were caring for a patient aboard LifeNet 7-13, based out of Ticonderoga, NY.

Our crew quickly landed at a nearby hospital while our communications center coordinated emergency resources for Kevin and our patient. Despite the extraordinary efforts of our crew, communications teams, first responders, and the hospital staff, Kevin could not be revived.

Our priority now is the well-being of our teammates and the continued support of Kevin’s family. The Ticonderoga base remains on safety stand-down as we allow our team the time and space they need to grieve.

We ask that you keep Kevin’s family, friends, and teammates in your thoughts, and join us in respecting their privacy as we all navigate this heartbreaking loss. We will forever cherish the memories Kevin leaves with us, and we will carry his memory and legacy with us on every mission.

If your around St. Paul Saturday come out to golf course from 1030-12 to see the helicopter!

We can’t wait to come out and support the sheriff department

A little update on the tournament since we are a week out from tee off. There will be opportunity holes as well as some really good hole prizes! We have a few spots left to fill so be sure to get entered this week!

LifeNet Helicopter Service will have the life flight helicopter out on the driving range at approximately 10:30AM until tee time! Bring the kids out and watch them light up over a helicopter up close and learn what the paramedics do during a flight!

We will also have the LAV (light armored vehicle) along with patrol cars out at the course for everyone to learn about their capabilities and the equipment that helps the departments serve the community!

K9 Dusty and his handler Deputy Bearheels will be out at the course as well. There will be K9 demonstrations that will give everyone an opportunity to see what K9 Dusty does on a normal day of work!

⛳️🚁 The LifeNet Bases aka Slice-In Onesies took to the greens this weekend for the Melham Medical Center Foundation Golf Scramble!

Even though we’re better flight nurses than golfers 😉, we had an absolute blast — especially teaming up with the awesome Melham Medical Center ladies.

Our score may not have taken home the win, but we definitely scored the “Most Fun” award (and some cool prizes to go with it 🎁).

At the end of the day, nothing beats supporting the communities we proudly serve — on the course or in the air. 💙

🚁 Fun Fact Friday!
Our EC-135 has a range of about 280 miles with the fuel we need to still pick up a patient— that’s basically a road trip without the gas station snacks. 🚫🍫 But don’t worry, our crew still brings the lifesaving skills (and maybe a granola bar or two).
