🌼 Happy International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Day!

Today we’re marching into a new month by celebrating the incredible lactation consultants who support, guide, and empower families every single day.

At KRMC, we’re proud to highlight Mandi Simants, our dedicated Certified Lactation Consultant. Mandi is an RN with a rich background in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and the NICU. She provides compassionate, informed lactation support to families Monday through Friday in both inpatient and outpatient settings — meeting parents wherever they are in their feeding journey.

Our KRMC lactation consultants are more than experts — they’re compassionate educators, problem solvers, and true partners for parents.

Thank you for the care you provide and the confidence you help create.

Happy Telemetry Tech Day!

We’re celebrating the incredible techs who keep an eye on every beat—literally. From monitoring rhythms to responding in real-time, they’re the behind-the-scenes heroes who make sure every heartbeat gets the attention it deserves.

Their focus is sharp, their teamwork is steady… and their ability to read cardiac rhythms? Un‑beat‑able. 😉

Thank you, Telemetry Techs, for all you do to support patient care at KRMC.

Celebrating Our Cardiology Nurses! ❤️

As Heart Month comes to a close, we want to give a huge shout‑out to the incredible cardiology nursing team at Platte Valley Medical Clinic. Their expertise, compassion, and dedication help keep our patients’ hearts beating strong every single day.
From monitoring the smallest details to supporting patients through life‑changing care, these nurses are truly the heartbeat of our cardiology team. 💓

As we wrap up the final week of February, remember: even though Heart Month ends soon… our cardiology nurses don’t skip a beat. 😉

Kearney Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Jaci Dietz, PA-C, has joined our organization as a Physician Assistant within the Inpatient Cardiology team.

A Kearney native, Jaci is returning to her hometown to care for the community where she first discovered her passion for healthcare. She recently completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she gained strong training in evidence-based medicine and collaborative patient care.

During her supervised clinical rotations, Jaci developed hands-on experience in internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, general and orthopaedic surgery, emergency
medicine, pediatrics, pulmonology, hematology and oncology, psychiatry, and women’s health. Her time in rural Nebraska strengthened her dedication to providing high-quality care in community-focused settings.

Jaci’s capstone project, “Integrating the CardioMEMS System into Mainstay Monitoring of Heart Failure Patients in Order to Improve Health Outcomes in Rural Communities,” reflects her interest in cardiology and her commitment to improving outcomes for rural patients.

Before becoming a PA, Jaci worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at CHI Good Samaritan in Kearney, supporting multiple units including the OR and PACU. She also gained research experience through the Child Health Research Institute.

Please join us in welcoming Jaci Dietz, PA-C, to Kearney Regional Medical Center.
