Platte Valley Medical Clinic has received the Murj CARE Award, a national recognition celebrating excellence in cardiac device management.

This award is given to clinics that maintain CIED care compliance scores of 90% or higher while providing high-quality, data-driven care for patients with cardiac devices.

At the heart of Kearney Regional Medical Center is a community that cares deeply for patients, families, and caregivers.

The KRMC Foundation helps make that care possible — supporting innovation, employee well‑being, and equipment/supplies that touch lives every day.

Because of you and your support of the KRMC Foundation, real progress in patient care is being made this year. Your generosity has provided 20 scales, 25 blood pressure monitors, 250 heart failure education books, 120 pieces of clothing for the clothing closet, 50 breast cancer treatment handbooks, cancer center transportation (14 rides), gas cards, and extended stay kit items—making a meaningful impact for patients when they need it most.

Hear from Laura Jensen’s family and staff highlighting the impact the Laura Jensen Cancer Caring Fund has already made for patients at KRMC and at the Kearney Cancer Center. Laura Jensen was a compassionate nurse at KRMC – Platte Valley Medical Clinic, whose kindness and dedication touched countless patients and colleagues; the fund was established in her honor to continue her legacy of care and support for those facing cancer.
