Hi everyone - my apologies for the page silence lately. As many of you know, these past few years have been a struggle for me and unfortunately, I’ve made the difficult decision to close this business at the end of the year. I’m going to try to honor as many gift certificates as I can physically handle in the next week and a half so if you have one and would like to try to make an appointment, please text or call me on my personal number at 3086273423, the office phone is no longer in service. My apologies to everyone for the disappointment, but I need to do what’s best for me right now and that involves stepping away for at least a year or two. I hope you all know how much I’ve appreciated your understanding, kindness, compassion and patronage these last 9 years. So many of you have become more than just clients to me and I’ll always hold a special place in my heart for you; I hope you stick around to see what the future holds. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for everything ❤️❤️❤️

Hey everyone - I want to start by apologizing for the page silence lately! I’ve ran into so many of you that are confused and concerned, and people talk so I know more of you are frustrated and upset with me. I’m going to try to explain what’s been going on in a hopefully less crazy sounding way than last time.

We still don’t have health insurance; there’s just not any affordable options for us right now that would be cost effective, but I did find a doctor here in town that offers membership based care with upfront and discounted pricing and here’s the official diagnoses so far - De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and palmer fasciitis and that’s just in my hands. I have pain and numbness throughout my body so eventually we’ll work on addressing that, but right now my hands are the biggest source of discomfort and also effecting my livelihood. As you all know, I’ve also struggled with depression, anxiety, ADHD and some type of immune system dysfunction pretty much my entire life, but the most pressing issue right now is getting my hands functioning better so that I can do more than 4-6 massages a week without my hands going out on me and then we’ll work on the other health concerns.

In the meantime, I sincerely apologize to everyone who has reached out and not gotten a response, everyone who was supposed to be rescheduled and I’ve never gotten back to, everyone who’s gotten a massage and it wasn’t at the level of care you’ve needed, basically just everyone I’ve disappointed, frustrated or let down in the last few years. On a good day, my brain can only handle so much and those are few and far between anymore. Pain clouds every thought every day, nonstop. Couple that with the mental health issues I mentioned earlier, and responding to calls, texts and emails has honestly been the last thing on my mind. Please don’t take it personally and please know that I’m trying so hard to get better and do better. I’m so very grateful for the love and understanding so many of you have shown me and I hope you know it hasn’t gone unnoticed. I’ve been on the brink of hanging up this massage gig for good, but the kindness so many of you have shown me keeps me going and gives me hope that I’ll be able to get back to a normal, full schedule someday.

On a more positive note, I do have a student massage therapist joining me so stay tuned for more info on that coming very soon!

As many of you know, I’ve struggled with mental and physical health issues throughout my life. Unfortunately, those have been getting the best of me lately. I’ve been trying to buckle down and power through more than I can handle and it’s finally catching up with me in a big way. I don’t know what the next few months will bring but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up, my schedule will be very limited moving forward and availability might change on a day to day basis. I appreciate you all bearing with me these last few years and I hope you can continue to do so while I figure out my next steps. I won’t be accepting any new clients for the time being, my apologies for any inconvenience. Thank you again for your continued patience and support.
