It's and we're excited to introduce Dr. Brett Carranza, Southwest District Trustee. Dr. Carranza is a Pediatric Dentist who practices in Kearney.
When asked about his favorite NDA memory, Dr. Carranza shared, "My most memorable experience has been being able to serve with dedicated colleagues on the NDA Board of Trustees as the Southwest District Trustee. It's incredibly rewarding to advocate for Nebraska dentists, support community oral health initiatives, and see the direct impact of organized dentistry on improving access to care, especially for children across our state."
We also asked what he wishes he had learned earlier in his career. He said, "I wish I had learned earlier the profound long-term value of building strong, trust-based relationships with patients and families from the very first visit. Early prevention, patient education, and making dental visits positive experiences pay dividends far beyond clinical skills alone. It's what truly transforms oral health outcomes in pediatric practice."
