Friendly Face Friday!!
Meet Sterling, one of our amazing servers here at Cambridge Court! Originally from Kearney, NE, Sterling has been part of our Cambridge Court family for a total of 11 incredible years.
What does he love most about working here? The residents and staff who make every day meaningful.
When he’s not at work, Sterling enjoys fishing, camping, playing chess, horseshoes, and collecting antiques. He also likes to start each day by reading his devotions and Bible.
Sterling says his proudest moment in life was the day his daughter, Autumn, was born. And his perfect day? Spending it out on the water fishing, like the time he reeled in a 7 lb 15 oz, 25-inch catch on a very windy day!
We never see sterling without a smile on his face, and an encouraging word or Bible verse to share! He is truly a blessing to all of us here at Cambridge Court.
Next time you see Sterling, be sure to say hello and thank him for all he does to make our community so special!

April is Occupational Therapy Month, and we’re also celebrating the incredible impact of Family Physical Therapy!

A big thank-you to all the dedicated therapists who help improve lives every single day—your compassion, patience, and expertise make a difference that truly matter.

Thank you to Carrie from Family Physical Therapy, for bringing coffee and donuts for staff and residents this morning we appreciate all that you do for our residents.

You already know what today is…IT’S FRIENDLY FACE FRIDAYYYYY !!!!
This week we are excited to highlight Jeanie!
Jeanie is originally from Bertrand, Nebraska, and spent many years as a journalism teacher, sharing her passion for writing and storytelling with her students.
When asked about her favorite holiday, Jeanie chose Thanksgiving, because she has so much to be thankful for, a sentiment we truly love. In her free time, she used to enjoy reading mystery novels, getting lost in a good story.
If she could travel anywhere, Jeanie says she would love to visit England. Here at our community, her favorite part is the friendly people, and we feel the same about her!
We are so lucky to have Jeanie as part of our family. Be sure to say hello when you see her!

Today we celebrated in the most fun (and hilarious!) way by trying out a popular TikTok trend—painting the person sitting across from us!
After watching a few videos for inspiration, we quickly realized this wasn’t about being perfect… it was about laughing, connecting, and enjoying the moment. And let’s just say—there were LOTS of laughs!
Our residents had such a great time letting go of perfection and just having fun with it. The creativity and laughter made this a day to remember.
Art brings people together, and today was a beautiful reminder that it doesn’t have to be serious to be meaningful

It's Friendly Face Friday!!!!
This week’s Friendly Face is one of our amazing Medication Aides, Nesha Rose Smith!
Nesha grew up in Elm Creek and has been a dedicated caregiver since 2005. Her passion for caring for others shines through in everything she does, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of our team.
When she’s not at work, Nesha enjoys thrifting, building Legos, doing makeup, and spending quality time with her family. She loves watching Monday Night Raw with them and has a sweet spot for… Sweet Tarts!
Something you might not guess about Nesha—she loves to eat octopus!
Nesha says she is most proud of her children, and one of her favorite memories is a moment straight out of a movie:
“I thought we were doing a photo shoot on the beach in the Dominican. I turned around and Anthony (my now husband) was down on one knee proposing. It was the most amazing surprise.”
We are so lucky to have Nesha’s compassion, experience, and positivity in our community. Be sure to say hello next time you see her!

It’s Friendly Face Friday!!!!
This weeks, friendly face is Patty S!
Patty has been a part of the Cambridge Court community for 4 years, and when asked what she loves most about living here, she didn’t hesitate to say “the friendly people”.
A perfect day to Patty, would be spent outside enjoying the fresh air and spending time with the cats.
If she could travel anywhere in the world, Patty would choose Jerusalem, to walk the same places Jesus walked.
Here’s something that might surprise you—Patty shared that she was “wild and crazy” when she was younger, but grew out of it before finishing school! Not our Patty!?!?
We’re so glad Patty is apart of our Cambridge Court family. Be sure to say hello if you see her around!

Thank you so much to Smiling Faces Academy, Preschool kids for coming and spending time with our residents this morning.

Our residents had so much fun doing Easter crafts, and sharing lots of laughs. 🐣
