Michele's mom, Ernestine, moved to Cambridge Court just over 5 years ago.

When we asked Michele how Ernestine and the family knew it was time for mom to make the change to assisted living, she stated that mom was having some health concerns and felt she didn't want to live alone anymore.

Michele visited several of the communities around Kearney. She narrowed it down to 3 and then brought mom in for a tour. Cambridge Court was the 2nd community she toured and by the end of the visit, she was already calling the room "her apartment".
Ernestine loved the set up of the apartment and was impressed with all of the kind people that lived and worked here. She also felt a sense of safety here.

In Michele's words:
"The one amazing perk we have found at Cambridge is the deep love you all have for my mom and kindness you have shown our family. We are so lucky to have found you when we did because a couple weeks later, COVID hit."

Meet Jerome!

Jerome moved to Cambridge Court in June!

He said the reason he chose Cambridge Court as his new home was the cost. He told us that this was a very nice place for a great price.

Jerome says his favorite part of living here is the help. You ask them to help, and THEY DO!

You will find Jerome each morning out on the back patio filling his bird feeder and tending to his tomato plant before he goes to visit his wife.

Today we talked with Peggy Mak. Peggy's mom, Bonny, has called Cambridge Court "home" for 3 years.

Peggy shared with us that during their journey to find a community for mom, the size of Cambridge Court was a big factor. They liked that it was a smaller community that Bonny could easily navigate.

Bonny's family chose Cambridge Court for her. They felt good about their decision because they knew she would be safe and cared for.

Peggy said one unexpected perk they have experienced during Bonny's time at Cambridge Court is that the staff are genuine and truly understand her mom’s likes, dislikes, wants, and needs.
