Please join us in welcoming our newest board-certified critical care pulmonologist–Dr. Michael Talalaev!

Dr. Talalaev, a distinguished Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy, possesses extensive experience in emergency medicine and providing critical care for severely ill patients in an intensive care unit setting. He specializes in diagnosing and treating lung and respiratory system injuries and diseases, with advanced clinical training in ECMO and interventional pulmonology procedures.

Joining Dr. Meenakshi Ghosh and Melissa Hoferer, APRN, Dr. Talalaev's practice is located at 3219 Central Ave, Suite 200, and is open weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm. To schedule an appointment, call 308-865-2370.

I participate in the annual campaign because I believe in helping others. Whether my donation goes to the Good Sam fund, towards a project for the hospital, or even to another project that I am passionate about, I know my money is making a difference for my community and my hospital. My department has benefited from donations and I know of several people that utilized these funds during tough times. It makes me feel good knowing I was part of making that difference.

When you are part of a large organization, sometimes it feels like we get a little lost. By participating in the Annual campaign, you can make an impact at a local level. Today is World Stroke Day: CHI Health Good Samaritan has been a Primary Stroke Center since 2011 and is proud to be able to provide all phases of stroke care from prehospital to post acute care.

I believe it is important to support projects in our facility alongside the community that supports Good Samaritan through the Good Samaritan Annual Campaign. The community needs to see that we invest in ourselves because we believe it is a priority for the success of the community we serve.

You can never really know a person's circumstances, I want to make sure our facility is ready to support anyone that needs help for whatever the need is. It is very difficult to be the one to ask for help and to have no store to pull from would be heartbreaking when the person presents with courage to ask. I encourage us to be ready!
